Kia ora. Ko Christine Fokkens tōku ingoa. My name is Christine Fokkens, and I am delighted to be working at Cornerstone from 2026. I am an experienced Early Childhood teacher and I find great joy in combining my teaching skills with my faith, sharing God's love with tamariki in meaningful and nurturing ways.

A little about me....

I am blessed with four wonderful adult tamariki and a lovely daughter-in-law, who bring so much joy to my life. Outside of teaching, I treasure time spent with my whānau and friends, pottering around home, serving at church, exploring my creativity through arts and crafts, and continuing my journey learning te reo Māori.

I see each child as a treasure with unique gifts and talents, and I am passionate about building strong relationships that support them to develop as confident, capable learners.
